Rugby match in support with the victims of the attacks in Paris at the “Lycée Jules Verne” on November 28, 2015 [fr]

The South African Rugby Legends team wants to support France after Paris attacks of November 13, 2015.

A friendly match will take place between the South African Rugby Legends, a team with former Springboks, and the “Stade Joburg”, which federates the French rugby fans residing in Johannesburg, on November 28, 2015, from 13h00 at the “Lycée Jules Verne”.

France, in this difficult times, shares more than ever the values of rugby : courage, solidarity, cooperation and respect.

The French Ambasador, Mrs Barbier, the French Consul of Johannesburg, Mr Quereilhac, and the headmaster of the French Lycée, Mrs Despin-Hirlimann, will attend the rugby match and support “Stade Joburg”.

Before the kick-off, a donation will be handed over to the French Ambassador in aid of the families of the victims of the terrorist attacks of November,13.

Following the match, a braai will be offered to spectators and players to share a moment of conviviality.
