Meeting with the South-Africans tour-operators in Durban [fr]

After the successful meetings with tour-operators in Cape Town and Johannesburg in October 2015, the French Consulate General in Johannesburg, Atout France and Capago decided to renew the event in Durban on the 12nd of April 2016.

After the successful meetings with tour-operators in Cape Town and Johannesburg in October 2015, the French Consulate General in Johannesburg, Atout France and Capago decided to renew the event in Durban on the 12nd of April 2016.

Fifteen South African tour-operators from KwaZulu-Natal attended the meeting hosted by Capago.

Mr Raymond Quereilhac, Consul General of France in Johannesburg, underlined the measures to facilitate the visa process for South Africans: visa in 48 hours (excluding the time of transport between Durban and Johannesburg), the possibility to apply at any Capago center in South Africa (Johannesburg, Durban or Cape Town) and the rise of the number of circulation visas from one to five years. South Africa is a “pilot country” with China, India, Brazil, Turkey and a few countries in Middle-East.

The professionals of tourism showed a keen interest for the information provided during the meeting.

As a reminder, France welcomed about 120 000 visitors from South Africa in 2015 and is one of the favorite destination.
