Lunch of the French community in Vanderbijlpark [fr]

On Saturday, 30 January 2016, the Consulate General of France in Johannesburg and the Société Française de Bienfaisance à Johannesburg (SFBJ) together organized a lunch for the French community of Vanderbijlpark.

Alongside the Vice-consul, Mr. Brice Sardain, the consular officer in charge of social affairs, Mr. Antoine Herbreteau, and the President of the SFBJ, Mr. Olivier Lammens, thirty or so of our compatriots shared the traditional Epiphany cake. The slide of photographs below gives you a glimpse of the conviviality of this moment and at the same time let you discover those who were crowned on this occasion.

The credit of this successful event, which took place at the Shakespeare Inn hotel, to a great extent has to be given to Mrs. Ginette Brune, who, whithin the social work of the SFBJ and on a voluntary basis, also provides assistance to those of our fellow citizens in need in Vanderbijlpark. A very special thank to her.
